Matambre a la pizza — Argentine grilled flank steak topped with tomato sauce, melting mozzarella, oregano and olives. A smoky, indulgent twist on pizza.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Beef Flank Steak
  • 200g Tomato Sauce
  • 200g Mozzarella
  • 1 tbsp Oregano
  • 100g Green Olives
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Pepper

Preparation

  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then grill one side until half-cooked.
  2. Spread tomato sauce over the cooked side, then add the cheese, oregano and olives.
  3. Grill until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  4. Slice and serve hot.
  5. For even cooking, lightly score the steak on both sides before grilling, and precook it before adding the toppings so it's fully cooked without burning the cheese.
