Three-ingredient peanut butter cookies — soft, nutty and unbelievably easy, made with just peanut butter, sugar and an egg, marked with the classic criss-cross fork pattern.
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter, sugar and egg.
- Scoop out a spoonful of dough and roll into a ball, then place onto a nonstick baking sheet.
- For decoration and to help them cook evenly, flatten each ball by pressing a fork down on top, then press again at a 90° angle to make a criss-cross pattern.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the bottoms are golden brown.
- Remove from the baking sheet and cool.
